Mustad Demon Perfect Circle Hooks 39951NP-BN

The Mustad Demon Perfect Circle Hook is a revolutionary circle hook designed for anglers who demand superior hook-up rates and a fish-friendly design. It is a self-setting hook that eliminates the need for a forceful hook set, making it the ideal choice for catch and release, and deep-water fishing.

Mustad is a legendary hook manufacturer with a history dating back to 1832. Based in Norway, the company has grown to become the world’s largest producer of hooks, renowned for their commitment to using the highest quality materials and technology.

The Demon Perfect Circle Hook uses premium high-carbon steel wire, which then undergoes an automated and precise bending process, giving the unique “Perfect Circle” shape. The point is then sharpened using Mustad’s proprietary Nor-Tempering process, which hardens the steel for superior durability. Finally, the hook is coated in Black Nickel, through an electroplating process that provides a durable, low-glare finish and excellent corrosion resistance.

The shape of this Demon Perfect Circle Hook is the key to its great success. It is a self-setting hook that rotates in the fish’s mouth and then will set itself in the corner of the mouth as the fish swims away with the bait. This will dramatically reduce the chances of gut-hooking the fish, making it an essential hook for catch and release fishing. The hook point is slightly turned in for excellent presentation, and its extra-wide gap provides an improved hold. The Black Nickel finish is not only a tough, low-glare coating that adds to its stealth but also provides superior corrosion resistance in both freshwater and saltwater environments.
