The Penn Slammer reels were specially developed for fishing with braided lines. Thanks to the new patented “Leveline™” spool stroke system, even line lay is guaranteed. All components used in the reel are designed for unbending power and absolute stability in every situation.
The extra strong stainless steel axle is connected to the brass gear in 3 positions – this is unique in reel construction technology worldwide. The entire reel body and the golden spool are made of “marine grade” aluminum. It was only the use of this light, yet robust alloy that made it possible to build these dream reels.

Designed to be robust, the Slammer stationary reel is suitable for more than just spin fishing. Use the larger models for sea fishing, jigging or fishing with natural bait. The Slammer is not to be underestimated. With the HT-100™ brake system, you can fish with one of the best brakes currently available in the fishing sector. With this brake system, a large brake disc is installed under the spool. This largely eliminates contamination. If the brake disc does become worn, you can simply turn it around and have full braking power again. The right reel for all fish in fresh and salt water.
