Blackrock Competition Surf Multiplier 13′ 6” 3 – 7oz shore fishing rod is built to a very high specification using a high modulus carbon construction. The tip is unground, adding to its rigidity, whereas the butt section remains smooth.

The Blackrock Competition Surf Multiplier 13′ 6” 3 – 7oz has a very pleasing through action with a firm tip going in to a powerful mid and butt section. It is a very good casting rod which gives good performance with a fairly basic style but has plenty in reserve which can be easily tapped into with more advanced casting styles from OTG to pendulum.

Fuji Alconite guides compliment the build and the rod is finished in an understated black and gold scheme. The butt section features a moving reel seat upon a Japanese shrink handle and the same Japanese shrink can be found at the base of the tip section just above the spigot to aid removal even with cold, wet hands.
